NPL names 18 in Team of Round One

The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has announced that 17 players and one coach have made its official Team of the First Round.
League leaders, Dolphins, dominated the team by providing three players and the team's coach.
Dolphins’ manager, Stanley Eguma, picked as coach of the first round, led the trio of goalkeeper Rotimi Sunday, defender Uche Oguchi and midfielder Owusu Addae, who is named as a substitute in the side.
Eguma beat the duo of Gbenga Ogunbote of Sunshine Stars and Festus Allen of Bukola Babes to the position of team coach.
Newcomers Bukola Babes and Warri Wolves have three players each in the team.
Centre-back ThankGod Ike, midfielder Emmanuel Omodiagbe and striker Ehiosun Ekigho are picked from Warri Wolves.
The three Warri Wolves’ players grabbed first-team spots in the 18-man NPL squad.
