The highlight show for the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Naija Made, enters its third episode with a bumper package to unveil stars from the home front by the World of Champions.
Naija Made will be live on the African dedicated channel of SuperSport Nine from 7.30pm Nigerian time this Thursday.
The programme will open with highlights and performances of stars from the past weekend games across the country.
One of the talking points for this week will be the goal scored by Tope Orelope of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) against Dolphins at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
And to unwrap the other packages for this week’s show on Nigeria’s topflight division from the HD studio of the World of Champions will be presenter Mozez Praiz.
In this week’s episode of the highlight show, Fifa Security Officer in Nigeria, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gideon Akinsola, will be the guest.
Praiz will drill the police officer on the modus operandi of crowd control and provision of security for football and how it can be applied at NPL match venues.
The weekly show on the World of Champions is also an interactive programme, as viewers will have the chance to speak on issues discussed by the guests and presenter.
There are also dedicated segments on Naija Made for the lighter mood.
One of such is the ‘Who Sabi?’ segment in which two players square up against each other to test their knowledge on the history of the Premier League in Nigeria.
Players such as Fortune Chukwudi and Okiemute Odah, both of Sharks, have featured in this segment.
Odah speaks: “I enjoyed being on the show and I never knew that answering questions on the league could be that difficult even as a player.”
Naija Made is a weekly highlight show and exclusive to SuperSport.
