Plateau trio to join Kwara Utd next term

Three Plateau United players have agreed in principle to join Kwara United at the end of the season, SuperSport.com can report.
George Akpabio, Stanley Dimgba and Ahmed Mohammed, came close to sealing a move away from Plateau United to Kwara in the mid-season transfer window until the deal fell through.
The trio have wormed their ways into the heart of Kwara United head coach, Kadiri Ikhana, who was close to signing them until the general manager of Plateau United, Bitrus Bewarang, now acting head coach, spoke to Ikhana to allow the players return to Jos.
The three men have since returned to Jos to team up with Plateau United for preparations ahead of the second round.
But it has been gathered that the Plateau United players have agreed to return to Kwara United at the end of this season.
A club official at Kwara United hinted that the players will only join Kwara United at the end season if Plateau United are relegated from the topflight.
“The three players (Akpabio, Dimgba and Mohammed) will still join Kwara United at the end of the season barring any hitch.
“They have agreed to sign for us but only if Plateau United are no more in the Premier League,” said the official.
