Bazuaye seals N1.92m deal with Lobi

Former Enyimba player, Daddy Bazuaye, has agreed to join Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Lobi Stars, ahead of the resumption of the second part of the football season in the country for an annual wage of N1.92 million.
SuperSport.com has learned that Bazuaye, who moved from Minna-based club, Niger Tornadoes, is expected to earn as much as N160,000 monthly at Lobi Stars.
The deal is expected to run for 12 months, it has been gathered.
A club official revealed that the monthly pay of the player is that high since he brokered a deal that did not include a signing-on fee.
“I can tell you that Daddy Bazuaye has agreed to join Lobi Stars. But he will not be getting any signing-on fees from the club. Instead he will be become one of the highest earners in the Nigerian league because Lobi Stars will pay him N160,000 per month as salary,” the Lobi Stars’ official confirmed to SuperSport.com.
The attacking midfielder has had a difficult spell at Niger Tornadoes since he joined them before the start of this season.
But the former Under20 Nigerian star is not the only player to be signed on by Lobi Stars in the mid-season transfer of the Nigerian topflight.
The Nigerian club have also signed on three other players to strengthen their playing personnel for the restart of the league.
Midfielder Otanwa Otanwa has been added to the playing personnel of Lobi Stars on a one-year deal.
Otanwa, a former player of Akwa United and Enyimba, was signed from Wikki Tourists.
Two other players – Ebele Okolo and Oliver Nsidibe – have also been signed on a year deal each.
Okolo, a youngster from Inter Enugu joins from Heartland while Nsidibe comes from Royal Forces in Makurdi.
