Amoo facing the pressure at 3SC

The pressure is building up on 3SC head coach, Fatai Amoo (pictured), as the club management is breathing down is neck following the inconsistent display of the team in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) this term.
SuperSport.com was informed by a member of the club’s backroom staff that the situation at 3SC has degenerated to an all-time low.
It has been learned that every effort by the former Sunshine Stars’ coach to put the team on track has been rebuffed as an incompetent move especially by a board member of the club’s management, who is a former Nigeria international.
Amoo has also been stripped of the freehand of selecting his squad players for league games since the commencement of the second half of the NPL.
“It is not the same again here (at 3SC). The coach is harassed by this board member every now and then. Things are just not the same as it was when we had Mutiu Adepoju in charge. The coaches had a freehand in doing their jobs before now but now they are told which players will make the team for a game and which one should not,” the club official.
SuperSport.com also learned that Adepoju, who is the club’s technical director, has little or no input in the selection of players for 3SC’s league games.
“He (Adepoju) has been relegated to the background. You know he is not that kind of person that drags issues. So he has decided to keep quiet and watch as things unfold,” said our source.
3SC are currently placed on 13 th position on the Premier League log and seven points adrift of the drop zone.
