Mainz end interest in Bivan, Siman

German Bundesliga side, FSV Mainz 05, have cancelled the plan to have Kaduna United duo of Emma Bivan and Yusuf Siman (pictured) try out at the club.

Naijaligue.blogspot.com has learned that the Kaduna United men could not meet up with the date of appointment for visas at the German embassy.

It has also emerged that Kaduna United refused to release Bivan and Siman to travel to Germany.

The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side are holding on to both players by insisting that they still have existing contracts that are yet to run out.

A source close to the club revealed that Bivan and Siman are regarded as important players for the campaign in the 2011 Caf Confederation Cup.

Kaduna United have lost a handful of key players to European clubs.

Sani Aruwa, Fidelis Saviour and Emmanuel Ambrose are among key players who have left the club in search of new employers in Europe.
