No Brondby deal yet for Akpoveta

Warri Wolves' man, Oke Akpoveta, is just days away from signing officially for Danish side, Brondby IF.

Naijaligue.blogspot.com has been informed by Akpoveta's agent, Atta Aneke, that the Danish club have no handed his client a contract.

But Aneke disclosed that the striker has impressed officials of Brondby in the past week of trying out at the club.

However, it is likely that Akpoveta could get a contract next week after his performance with Brondby reserves has not gone unnoticed.

"No he has not signed yet (for Brondby). But he has done really well for the reserve team so hopefully next week we will have some good news," Aneke told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.

Akpoveta had been billed to try out at Lillestrom of Norway before Brondby IF offered to give him a test.

The Warri Wolves' man could be playing alongside another Nigerian, Femi Ajilore, at the club if he eventually signs before the window closes.
