Two Nigerian sides, Enyimba and Sunshine Stars will go up against North African opponents this weekend in the semifinals of the Caf Champions League and Confederation Cup on your World of Champions.
On Saturday, Sunshine Stars will line up against Club Africain of Tunisia in the first leg semifinal of the Caf Champions League at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode live on SuperSport Select from 3.45pm CAT.
SuperSport will present a park full of talented Sunshine Stars’ players in joint top scorer in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Ajani Ibrahim, Ofem Inah, Cletus Itodo, Moses Ocheje, Godfrey Oboabona, Ukeyima Akombo and Dele Olorundare for this big clash.
Inah is of the view that Sunshine Stars will need to come up with a massive win over their Tunisian opponents on your World of Champions.
“This is a big game for us and a big opportunity also to play as one of the best four teams in the (Caf) Confederation Cup this year. We want to make the best out of it by giving it our best and making sure that we win very big to make the second leg easier for us,” Inah said. “I know North African teams are very good but we will take our chances against them.”
And on Sunday, Nigerian champions, Enyimba play host to Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) of Morocco in Aba live on SuperSport Nine from 3.55pm.
The Peoples Elephant will be at full strength on your World of Champions when they battle Wydad with the like of Victor Barnabas, Uche Kalu, Paul Godwin, Bernard Okorowanta, Valentine Nwabili, Samuel Tswanya, Olabiyi Rasheed, Otekpa Eneji, Ifeanyi Ede and David Tyavkase.
Also catch live coverage on SuperSport this weekend the Caf Champions League semifinal between Esperance ST of Tunisia and Al Hilal of Sudan as well as the semifinal clash of the Caf Confederation Cup between GD Interclube of Angola and Maghreb de Fes of Morocco.
