Quartet seals Dolphins' switch

Dolphins have completed the signings of four players ahead of the kick-off of the 2011/2012 Nigeria Premier League (NPL).

The Nigerian champions are hogging most of the big-names in the top flight in the transfer window after signing Isiaka Olawale (from Kwara United), Ifeanyi Egwim (from Enugu Rangers), Azeez Shobowale (from ABS FC) and Ugwu Uwadiegwu (free agent).

"We have completed the signing of Isiaka Olawale, Ifeanyi Egwim and Azeez Shobowale for the coming season.

"Also we signed defender Ugwu Uwadiegwu on Tuesday after he agreed to join us," a top official of Dolphins told SuperSport.com.

However, Dolphins are still not done with strengthening their squad as they are now favourites to land Kenneth Anyanwu.

Anyanwu is currently in Port Harcourt training with the team and could seal a deal in a matter of days.

Dolphins start off their NPL title defence by playing host to Sunshine Stars this Saturday at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt.
