Elvis to debut against Enyimba

SuperSport.com can reveal that newly-acquired Enugu Rangers signing, Kingsley Elvis, will make his debut against his former club, Enyimba, on Wednesday.

Elvis, who was part of the golden generation that won the Caf Champions League at Enyimba, recently joined Rangers after leaving Lobi Stars.

The former Enyimba star has already been handed number 19 at the famous Enugu side, which is undergoing re-organisation under new boss, Okey Emordi.

"I'm looking forward to Wednesday's match to contribute my quota to Rangers. I expect a victory against Enyimba," Elvis said to SuperSport.com.

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of players at Rangers.

"Rangers have a great squad this term. The new players and the old players have really impressed me. Besides, the team is coached by a very good manager, which explains why they are doing well," Elvis stated.

The former Super Eagles' star said he left Kaduna United for Lobi Stars last term because the club failed to honour contractual terms.

"Maurice Cooreman invited me to play for Kaduna United in the 2011 Caf Confederations Cup. However, I had to leave because the club wasn't handled professionally," he told SuperSport.com.

Elvis left Enyimba for Bendel Insurance, but returned to the Aba side, where he spent several seasons before joining Kaduna United in 2010.
