Ladan Bosso (pictured) has told SuperSport.com that Enugu Rangers and Kano Pillars have the playing personnel capable of winning the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) this season.
Bosso's team have already beaten Kano Pillars 1-0 in Bauchi and have dropped four points against Rangers over two legs this season.
The 46-year-old coach believes that Kano Pillars and Rangers remain the outstanding teams his Tourists have faced out of the clubs competing in the Nigerian top flight this term.
He added that the Flying Antelopes under the guidance of 2004 African Coach of the Year, Okey Emordi are "dangerous customers."
Bosso, who switched from Kano Pillars to Wikki Tourists in the off-season, recalled that Rangers were just seconds away from doing the double on his boys on Wednesday after schooling them for longer spells.
"My team have played the 19 other clubs and now I know their strengths and weaknesses. But the first two teams leading the league table at present are the best I've seen this season. Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers have the best teams so far. I believe that one of them deserves to win the league this season as they will give Nigeria a very good representation on the continent next year.
"Rangers showed us how strong their team is on Wednesday. They were almost taking away six points from us until we scored that late penalty to get a point at home though we lost four points in two legs to them. Personally Rangers and Kano Pillars deserve to win the league this season because they have done well and have the teams to do so," said Bosso to SuperSport.com as he journeyed by road to Ilorin for his team's Matchday 23 game against Kwara United on Saturday.
Kano Pillars lead the NPL standings on 36 points and two ahead of Enugu Rangers in second place.
