Enyimba attacking winger, Chimezie Amanfor believes that he and his teammates will take the three points at Rising Stars on Saturday.
Rising Stars play hosts to Enyimba on Matchday 21 of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) at the Kayode Oluyemi Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
Six-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba won the first clash of this season by 1-0 via a 75th minute goal in Aba.
"We will beat Rising Stars in Ado-Ekiti," Amanfor told SuperSport.com. "Enyimba are now in the title race and games like this one (against Rising Stars) should be one where we pick the three points so that we can continue to stay in the title race."
Amanfor is also keen to make his mark in his first season with Enyimba's seniors after spells with the feeder team and Akwa United, where he was on loan last season.
The attacking winger, who is right-footed but has predominantly played from the left side of attack for the Aba Warriors this term, is confident of remaining a mainstay in the first-team of the People's Elephant this season.
"I want to continue to play in the first-team this season and help my club win the league trophy," he said.
Amanfor has made 11 appearances for Enyimba this season and hopes his 12th will be capped with his first goal for the two-time Caf Champions League winners.
