Six new stars in The Predictor's XI

After Matchday 14 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), I have picked six new players into my team of the day.

Kennedy Obiakor, Halilu Obadaki (pictured), John Aguda, Taiwo Sunday, Yahaya Adamu and Osaguona Ighodaro are the six new players in my matchday team.

I have handed defenders Obiakor and Obadaki their first appearances in my team for their impressive outings for Gombe United and Kwara United respectively while Aguda and Sunday got top marks for their sterling display in midfield for their teams in the mid-week games.

The new boys up front, Adamu and Osaguona, had heads turning with their performances. Adamu was a handful for Lobi and netted the winning goal for Kwara United on the road and Osaguona harried the backline of Nasarawa United with his moves on and off the ball and capped it up with a superb overhead kick for a goal.

Kwara United's Suraj Aiyeleso gets the nod as my goalkeeper ahead of his Enyimba counterpart, Femi Thomas. Aiyeleso, who is nicknamed Buffon after the Italian keeper, proved he is adept at making point-blank saves and stopped a spot kick against Lobi.

Others who did well and got mentions in my team are Okey Odita, Nnamso Edo, Ubong Ekpai and Peter Ebimobowei.

Samson Unuanel is named coach in my matchday team for guiding Kwara United to an away win at Lobi Stars. It is the third time Unuanel is taking the reins of coaching in my team.
