In Yenagoa, a first half strike from Tunde Adeboye proved enough for Nembe City to edge Warri Wolves. Oghenekaro Etebo missed a glorious chance that could have at least sealed a point for Wolves late on.

The Akwa United and El-Kanemi Warriors contest at the Uyo Township Stadium ended 1 – 1.

Ezekiel Mba scored inside the opening 10 minutes for Akwa United and just before the half hour mark, Raphael Boumsong netted the leveller for the Warriors to share the points.
