Stores going for win in Abeokuta

Stationery Stores head coach, Taiwo Eneagwa, is confident of guiding his men to securing the full points at Gateway United in this Saturday's Nigeria National League clash in Abeokuta.

The Flaming Flamingoes began their return to the professional league in Nigeria after close to two decades of inactivity with a 1-1 draw against Abia Comets at the Onikan Stadium last weekend.

Eneagwa, this time, is keen to see his team get off the mark with a win.

"The fans should expect a good game (against Gateway United). The Adebajo Babes hope to win or at the very worst share the spoils," said the former Nigerian youth international to Superstoresfansworldwide ahead of this Saturday's clash.

Eneagwa also acknowledged that the return of Stores comes with a weight of expectation and he is "committed" to helping the Lagos club climb back into the summit of Nigerian football.

“Now that we’re back, I am committed to taking Stationery Stores FC to its rightful position in Nigerian soccer,” he said.

Captain of the club, Ayo Filani, is also bullish of their chance at Gateway United.

“We’re all psyched up for the Gateway United game and have worked on our areas of weakness after the Abia Comets match so that we can do much better this time around,” Filani said.
