The trio of Dele Olorundare, Sibi Gwar and Gambo Muhammad have made my Team of the Week after Match Day 2 of the Glo Premier League.
All three strikers were on target for their clubs over the weekend though Gwar was the only one whose team, Enyimba won.
Gwar was a handful for Enugu Rangers and capped up his performance with a fine finish and even had another goal ruled out.
Throughout last season, Olorundare scored all of his 12 goals at home before moving to Turkish second tier outfit, Tavsanli Linyitspor.
Olorundare on his return from Turkey rejoined Sunshine Stars and scored one of the two goals that almost helped the Akure Gunners end Kano Pillars' more than 10-year unbeaten run at home in the league.
Gambo assisted Ezekiel Mbah to score Kano Pillars' first goal and then made sure his team extended their unbeaten run at home to 173 matches by scoring the equaliser against Sunshine Stars in added time.
Sunshine Stars goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa missed out of my Match Day 1 team but this week showed his earlier performance was no fluke.
Ezenwa did enough to keep out Rabiu Ali's spot kick to make sure Pillars did not open a two-goal lead on his team.
Nnamso Edo, Aniyikaye Adeleye, Ekene Obi, Chima Akas, Shehu Abdullahi, Francis Nnedum and Douglas Archiv complete my Team of the Week.
Henry Abiodun, who holds a diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), is my coach of the week for coming close to ending Kano Pillars' unbeaten run at home.
