Wolves without Ibenegbu for Enyimba clash

Warri Wolves midfielder, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu (pictured), will continue to be sidelined as they host six-time champions, Enyimba on Wednesday.

Ibenegbu also known as Mosquito is still out with an ankle injury he sustained in their Caf Confederation Cup game at CA Bizertin.

He will now sit out and watch from the stands as Wolves take on Enyimba in a Match Day 3 rescheduled game at the Warri City Stadium.

But the good news for the Seasiders is that Ibenegbu started light workout on Tuesday.

The former El-Kanemi Warriors man admitted that he still feels pain in his injured ankle and that means he could still be days or weeks away from taking part in competitive football.

"I'm nursing an ankle injury I had in the trip to Tunisia. I started to jogging this morning but I am still feeling pains (in the ankle)," he said.

Ibenegbu has already missed the Glo Premier League matches against Kano Pillars and Giwa FC due to the ankle injury.
