Newly-promoted Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has said it is ready to give the duo of Tony Alegbe and Duke Udi the chance to try out at the Ibadan club before the start of the 2009/2010 Premier League season.
General Manager of Shooting Stars, Mutiu Adepoju, told our correspondent that Alegbe spoke to him and made his intention known that he wants to feature for the Premier League side next season.
He added that Udi is yet to talk to him, as he has only been linked to the club on the pages of newspaper.
Adepoju said the club is willing to give the two players the chance of trials.
“Tony Alegbe wants to play for us, but he will have to convince us that he can do that by coming for trials and I haven’t heard anything from Duke Udi yet. But like every player the two will have to prove that they are fit and prepared to play before our coaches,” Adepoju said.
