Premier League side, Warri Wolves, is set to swoop for goalkeeper of relegated side, Akwa United.
In a bid to bring in the former Nigerian junior international, Ambrose Vanzekin, to Warri before the close of the transfer window in August, the management of the club has placed its goalkeeper, Tejiri Rhioghene, in the transfer market.
The club has not been impressed with the performance of Rhioghene since he took charge of the number one position after the death of Orobosa Adun on June 2 during a training session of the club in Oleh.
A source inside the camp of the Warri outfit told our correspondent that the move for the Akwa United shot-stopper is due to the fact that Wolves would be competing in the CAF Confederation Cup next year and his experience in goal would count a lot.
