Following reports that Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) could bring in a new head coach this week in place of Franklin Howard, the club’s spokesman, Jubril Arowolo, ruled out the possibility of hiring a new handler for the Premier League newcomer.
But the statement left the door ajar for the hiring of a new helmsman at the Oluyole Warriors by saying that “no plan is in place yet to appoint a new coach because Howard is still our coach for now.”
The former Union Bank coach was on his way to Ibadan to resume as at Monday when this report was filed in by our correspondent.
Already three coaches, Solomon Ogbeide, Alphonsus Dike and Zachary Baraje have been linked with the coaching job at Shooting Stars.
