Boamah Proud Of 3SC’s Fighting Spirit

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) head coach, Phillip Boamah, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of side after it suffered its first defeat of the campaign in the Globacom Premier League in Aba against Enyimba.
Last Sunday, Shooting Stars suffered its first loss of the season at Aba when Enyimba needed a 60th-minute goal from Osas Idehen to grab the maximum points.
According to Boamah, Shooting Stars battled the Peoples Elephant till the end of the encounter and was unfortunate not to have secured a point from the game at the Enyimba Sports Stadium.
Boamah is upbeat about Shooting Stars posting a fine performance in this season’s campaign of the Globacom Premier League despite the 0-1 capitulation at Aba last Sunday.
“It is painful that we lost against Enyimba. But we can take some positives from that game because we did well and we were just unfortunate not to score against them. But I am confident that we have a very good team with a very good crop of players, who are capable of doing a good job. I must say that I am satisfied with their performance against Enyimba,” he told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.
Boamah has decided to focus on his club’s next game against Wikki Tourists and believes that it is a match that we must show that we can win by starting in our next game, which will be at home.
But Enyimba head coach, Okey Emordi, was excited that his side has finally got off to winning ways after three games.
The Peoples Elephant’s next game would be on the road to Kwara United on Saturday and Emordi knows that it poses another test for his side’s title credentials this term.
