Ex-Eaglet, Udoh, Makes Heartland Debut Sunday

Former Golden Eaglets’ centre-back, Kingsley Udoh, is set to make his long-awaited for his new club, Heartland Football Club, in Sunday’s Premier League game against Ocean Boys.
Assistant coach of Heartland FC, Ben Iroha, confirmed this to Naijaligue.blogspot.com that Udoh is one of the players considered for a place in the team that would face Ocean Boys in Owerri on Sunday afternoon.
“Yes he has been cleared and hopefully he is one of the players that the coach will use against Ocean Boys on Sunday,” Iroha told Naijaligue.blogspot.com.
Udoh, who has been cleared by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), was ecstatic about making his first appearance for the Naze Millionaires in the top-flight of the Nigerian league.
He told Naijaligue.blogspot.com: “My expectation is too help my colleagues to defeat them (Ocean Boys) with the experience I have.”
However, the club’s head coach, Kelechi Emeteole, could start the 19-year-old defender on the right-back considering the form of Emmanuel Olowo and ThankGod Ikechukwu in the central defence.
Already, Udoh has earned himself the nickname of Cafu at the club after spending two weeks of training before he was cleared to feature for the club on Sunday.
