For the first time this season, the Ibadan Premier League club could play host to visiting leader, Enyimba, at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, on Wednesday in a Week 23 game.
Renovation work on the traditional home ground of Shooting Stars was been concluded before last week’s visit of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) officials, Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands.
The officials of the league body inspected the ground last Thursday and gave it the go-ahead to play host to the home games of Shooting Stars in the Premier League for the remainder of the season.
The club’s General Manager, Mutiu Adepoju, was apparently happy to confirm that the side would start playing in the stadium from Wednesday when the Peoples Elephant comes calling.
Subsequently, 3SC had been playing its home games at the Liberty Stadium.
