Dolphin Promises Fireworks Against Sharks

Ahead of this weekend’s derby in the Premier League billed to hold in Port Harcourt, Dolphin Football Club has promised its city rival, Sharks Football Club, a shock treatment inside the Sharks Stadium.
Dolphin manager, Stanley Eguma, has assured that his side would not lose to the Blue Angels on Saturday.
Eguma, a former manager of Sharks, also called on Port Harcourt fans to remain calm and watch the game without causing any trouble.
“I can’t lose to Sharks and I am not planning to do so on Saturday so they will be in for a shock on Saturday and that is all I will say about this match,” Eguma said.
When pressed further, Eguma added: “Games between Dolphin and Sharks can never be seen as any other game. They are keenly contested with so much grit involved and this one won’t be different.
“I just hope and pray that the fans behave themselves and let the players on the pitch entertain them to good football.”
Both sides have not clashed at the Sharks Stadium since 2003 when the encounter ended 1 – 1.
But in 2005, Dolphin defeated Sharks home and away by 2 – 1 and 2 – 0, and that was the year both sides met last in the top division.
