Super Eagles’ forward, Eugene Salami, provided the much needed goal to give his side the maximum points in the Premier League match against former champion, Dolphin.
Salami, who was one of the players that excelled at the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup for the Super Eagles connected a free header in the 42nd minute off a corner kick.
The goal has taken Salami’s tally to 10 this season.
Although it was a nice game that confirms the rating of the Nigerian League, Dolphin ended with three injured players.
With Saturday’s victory, the Minna based club now has 45 points from 29 matches.
