The Week 35 Premier League match between Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United had to be moved forward after heavy rains rendered the Bako Kontagora Stadium pitch waterlogged.
Naijaligue.blogspot.com understands that the centre referee and match commissioner waited to see if the heavy downpour would abate before it took the decision to move the match to Monday.
The game was earlier scheduled to be played on Sunday, and is now expected to hold on Monday at same venue by 2.00 pm Nigerian time.
The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has been notified of the change in date for the game by the match officials.
