NPL Unveils New Website

The new board of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has decided to follow the modern trend in football administration by unveiling a new website.
The site which was built by a reputable IT company, iPRISE Limited, (Information Technology Service Providers) would seek to open up the Premier League to the outside world.
The website which is now up and running can be assessed with the address, www.npl.com.ng.
Chairman of the Premier League, Davidson Owumi, noted that it is the first step toward re-branding the top-flight division.
“This is one step we have to take so that we can further improve the fortunes of the Premier League.
“The Nigeria Premier League will strive to make sure that the website is updated on a daily basis and it will form the reference point for most of our activities,” Owumi said.
Vice chairman of the league body, Shehu Gusau, said it is a good thing that the website is up in just three weeks of the existence of the new board.
“We are happy that we have a website that we can call our own and I want to implore all stakeholders in the domestic league to avail themselves of this opportunity to keep abreast with what is happening in the Premier League,” Gusau said.
