Bayelsa Utd’s Okonkwo To Leave For Europe

Last season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP), Chibuzor Okonkwo, is set to dump relegated Premier League side, Bayelsa United, for a deal in Europe, Naijaligue.blogspot.com can reveal.

The player disclosed this to our correspondent in Lagos on Friday saying that he is close to inking a deal with an undisclosed club.

“For now I can say I am close to moving to Europe. But I cannot disclose anything now because my manager is perfecting all the paper work. But I will inform you as soon as the deal happens,” said the former Under-23 national team defender.
