Bundesliga To Assist Premier League Clubs

SuperSport International has brokered a deal with German Bundesliga to help bring about improvement to the Nigeria Premier League, Naijaligue.blogspot.com can reveal.
Vice President Sales Audiovisual Right, Bundesliga, Kay Dammholz, in an interview said the German league is looking at assisting its Nigerian counterpart through the exchange programmes.
He hinted that the Bundesliga will be looking at helping coaches attached to Premier League clubs in gaining knowledge about new development in the techniques of the game.
Also, media men reporting the top-flight division are targeted for exposure in visiting Germany to watch Bundesliga matches as well as take tours of football facilities.
“Our plan is to assist the Nigeria Premier League as much as possible because we see potentials in it. We intend to create opportunities for talented and young players from the Nigerian league. Managers and media are also in our plans as we intend to take them to Germany to visit and have the chance of knowing the working modes in the Bundesliga,” Dammholz said.
Head of Africa, SuperSport, Gary Rathbone, also buttressed that the partnership with the Bundesliga will be a whole new experience for the Nigeria Premier League.
Rathbone added that SuperSport is ready to assist in its own capacity to bring growth to the Premier League in Nigeria.
“The partnership will be a totally new experience I believe for everyone that will be involved. It will involve exceptional players having the chance to sign for Bundesliga clubs and coaches as well as media men going to Germany to have first-hand knowledge of running the game and taking tours of facilities and watching matches,” said Rathbone.
