Nigeria Premier League [NPL] side, Warri Wolves, are preparing to break the bank to sign two undisclosed big-names in the top-flight ahead of the 2010/2011 season.
General Manager, Media of Wolves, Timi Ebikagboro, revealed to SuperSport.com that discussions with the players are ongoing and could be done and dusted by Friday.
One of the players is said to be part of those invited for the international friendly match against Iran by the Super Eagles' selectors on November 17.
The other player is a striker with unarguably the most successful club in the southeastern part as well as in the country.
"We intend to sign more players but until we confirm them we cannot go to press. We still have two big fishes to sign within the next 48 hours and I promise you will get the full gists.
"We are still negotiating right now with them. All things being equal we could be sealing the deal within the next 48 hours. We want to be among the big boys this season, and for us to achieve this we must also think and spend big," Ebikagboro said.
Wolves seem to be carrying out a coup in the transfer window having signed Togo international defender, Akinsola Bousari, Paul Anobi from Niger Tornadoes, the duo of ThankGod Ike and Emmanuel Omodiagbe from Heartland and Sunday Mbah from Dolphin Football Club.
