Zamfara confident ahead trip to Rangers

Chief coach of Zamfara United, Bello Gusau, has told SuperSport.com that his players are in the mood to face Enugu Rangers on Sunday in a Week 5 clash of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
Gusau believes that on the back of his side’s stunning comeback last Sunday in Kano against Plateau United that Zamfara United will push the Flying Antelopes for the maximum points at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Last season, Zamfara United stunned Alphonsus Dike’s men by taking a point from this same game and Gusau is confident that they can re-enact same feat on Sunday.
But Gusau is also full of respect for Dike’s side going into Sunday’s game.
“We are very, very confident going to play Rangers now. Our boys are confident after that 3 – 2 win against Plateau United when we came back from two-nil down.
“We have respect for Rangers because they are one of the top clubs in the Nigerian league today, but we are also ready to play them on the field without showing any fear,” he said.
Zamfara United go into this match with a poor form guide of having picked just a point off Rangers in four visits to Enugu in five seasons.
