Nigeria wrap up for Week 15

Our predictor did not predict two games but got SIX correct scores including TWO exact scores right.

Niger Tornadoes 1 – 0 Gombe United
Andrew Igado’s goal late in this drab tie was the difference between the two sides and ensured our predictor was spot on. Gombe United would feel hard done by due to the officiating of referee Garba Hamza leading up to the goal. The win takes Tornadoes to 16th position on the log while Gombe are 15th.
Prediction: 1 – 0

Kwara United 1 – 1 Plateau United
This game only showed that the crisis at Kwara United is brewing up, as strugglers, Plateau United got a point after George Akpabio’s fine goal cancelled out Kabiru Sanusi’s 47th minute strike. The draw still leaves the Plateau boys in 19th position while Kwara United are 10th on 20 points.

Dolphins 1 – 0 Sunshine Stars
Ghanaian midfielder, Owusu Addae, scored on 19 minutes in this top-of-the-table clash at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt. Once again, Dolphins open a four-point gap over Sunshine Stars and five over third placed Warri Wolves.
Prediction: 0 – 0

Heartland 1 – 0 3SC
This is one of the traditional ties and the Naze Millionaires got all the points after Okey Nwadike’s strike on 16 minutes. Heartland held out for 74 minutes against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) to garner a total of 20 points so far and move into eighth place on the log while 3SC are 12th.

Warri Wolves 3 – 0 Sharks
Nigeria B Team striker, Ehiosun Ekigho, netted the first hat-trick of this season within 63 minutes against the Blue Angels. It was an off-colour performance from Sharks at the Warri City Stadium that allowed Wolves climb to third place with 25 points just as Ekigho got his fifth, sixth and seventh goals of the season to become the top scorer.
Prediction: 1 – 0

Crown FC 1 – 2 Enyimba
Our predictor forecasted an away win for the champions, Enyimba in this game and Sakibu Atanda made sure of that with two goals. But Atanda’s goals were sandwiched by Taofeek Akanbi’s equaliser. The champions are 11 points off the summit and Crown FC are still in relegation.
Prediction: 0 – 1

Ocean Boys 1 – 0 Kano Pillars
Ocean Boys are now two points above the drop zone thanks to Bola Lekan’s goal against Kano Pillars. Ocean Boys are 13th and the Peoples Elephant are 11th.
Prediction: 2 – 1

Kaduna United 1 – 0 Enugu Rangers
It was a very drab game by the standards of the Premier League. Substitute Adamu Ali deflated the hope of Enugu Rangers getting a draw from this match with a 73 minute goal. Maurice Cooreman’s men are now fifth on the log and Rangers are seventh.
Prediction: 1 – 1

Lobi Stars 1 – 0 Zamfara United
Moses Orkuma’s goal on 27 minutes was just enough to see off Zamfara United. It was not one of the best displays for the topflight but Lobi Stars held on to their lead to stay two points off the drop zone while Zamfara United are 17th on the log with 15 points.
Prediction: 2 – 0

Juth FC 2 – 2 Bukola Babes
It was end-to-end stuff, as Bukola Babes clawed their way back into the game after going two goals down. Kadiri Aminu was the hero for Bukola Babes, as he got his side's two goals including a spectacular overhead kick. Babes remain third while Jos University Teaching Hospital (Juth) Football Club stay put at the base of the log.
Prediction: 1 – 1
