Sharks’ marksman, Victor Ezeji (pictured), is keen to see his side to claim all three points when they play host to Warri Wolves in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier League (NPL) game.
Ezeji told SuperSport.com that though the Blue Angels suffered a 0 – 3 loss in the reverse fixture at Warri Wolves this season, he does think he and his teammates will be lining out for revenge.
The former Dolphins and Enyimba man said he would not mind the Blue Angels claiming all points even with an odd goal.
“Yes we lost the first game but our target for tomorrow (Sunday) is all three points. If we can win by a goal it is good for us. It is the three points that counts for us now,” Ezeji told SuperSport.com.
The striker also spoke on his goal drought in the league saying he is “still working hard though sometimes it happens in football” to the best of attackers.
The last time Ezeji scored for Sharks in the league was on February 9 at Plateau United. His goal turned out to be the winner in that encounter at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
Sharks head into this game in seventh place on the league standings with 53 points while Warri Wolves have 59 points and are in fourth position.
