Sunshine Stars' stand-in captain, James Moses, has called on his teammates to put an end to their poor form when they face Sharks on Saturday.
The Akure Gunners have surprisingly struggled in their last two games in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) drawing 3-3 at home to Jigawa Golden Stars and losing 0-1 to Kwara United on the road.
Moses, 22, believes that the club have enough quality among their playing personnel to halt the slide in form this Saturday at the Sharks Stadium.
"In our last two games the results have been poor. We are playing in the Caf Champions League and our fans expect better from us. The draw against Jigawa Stars at home last weekend was disappointing and then we lost at Kwara United.
"It will be terrible to lose here (in Port Harcourt) against Sharks. Yes they are a very good side but we need to give 100 percent and avoid defeat even if it is difficult to win," he told Naijaligue.blogspot.com just as the Sunshine Stars' contingent was checking into their hotel lodging ahead of Matchday 29 game.
