Bassey Ezekiel (pictured), suffered a rib injury while training in the Nigerian camp ahead
of the 2013 Afcon game against Liberia.
Ezekiel is one of the 15
players dropped from the squad to face Liberia's Lone Stars in Calabar on
October 13 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.

that the Lobi Stars' man suffered the rib injury on Thursday when another
player collided with him during a training session in Abuja.
The injury meant the
defender missed the Super Eagles' friendly games against Water FC and his
former team, FC Abuja.
Ezekiel told
supersport.com: "I'll return to Makurdi this week and I'll do an x-ray on
the injury to be sure because I still feel a lot of pains."
