Mba to leave Wolves on a free

Nigeria international, Sunday Mba (pictured), is holding out to leave Glo Nigeria Premier League club, Warri Wolves, on a free.

The contract of the Super Eagles midfielder at Wolves is expected to run out in December this year.

Mba, 24, is now exploring the option of securing a move to Europe in the January transfer window of 2014 when he becomes a free agent.

The midfielder, who is temporarily on loan to Enugu Rangers from Wolves on compassionate grounds, is already attracting fresh interests from French and Turkish clubs.

"There are a number of offers for Sunday Mba at the moment. Clubs from Turkey are interested in him but nothing is done yet.

"He is considering leaving in January when he will be a free agent so as to avoid any form of issues over his transfer," said football agent, Friday Nwankwo Kujah.

Mba has been a subject of a transfer row between Premier League clubs, Wolves and Rangers, before the intervention of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) declared the Warri club owners of 100 percent rights to the player.

The midfielder has also been linked with clubs in England and Norway following his eye-catching performance at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

  1. Sad for Warri Wolves. After the battle with Enugu Rangers, no cashing in on the player.
