Remo Stars cautious of Gabros

Remo Stars head coach, Shola Adewuyi, is cautious of the possible threat that Gabros FC could pose for his men when they clash in Sunday's Nigeria National League (NNL) Division B in Nnewi.

Adewuyi's choice to thread carefully against the Anaedo Boys stems from Remo Stars' heavy loss in this same fixture last season.

The Sky Blue Stars were beaten three-nil by Gabros FC in this corresponding fixture last term and Adewuyi, who only took charge as head coach of the team at the start of this season, is mindful of that result.

But Adewuyi hopes his team can do better when they face Gabros FC this time.

"The Gabros team is a very technical side. Last year the result we got there wasn't so good; so this time round we are hoping of getting a favourable result against them," said Adewuyi.

Adewuyi has said his team are prepared for the tie in Nnewi "with a positive mind."

"We are going to Nnewi fully prepared and most especially with a positive mind.

"I believe in the quality of these players, instilling the confidence and believe they can achieve a lot not just getting a result in Nnewi but going on the greatness," he said.

Remo Stars are undefeated after three league matches against 3SC, Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) FC and Ekiti United.

They are currently in fifth position in the NNL Division B standings on five points.
