CL: Heartland To Face North African Foes

Premier League side, Heartland Football Club, has been drawn in Group B of this year’s CAF Champions League against North African opponents, JS Kabylie of Algeria, Al Ahly and Ismaily both of Egypt.
The Naze Millionaires was kept apart from last year’s winner, Tout Puissant Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the draws.
Captain of Heartland, Chinedu Efugh, acknowledged that the draw against three established North African clubs is a massive test for his side in this year’s African elite club competition.
“It’s a difficult draw,” began Efugh. “We respect our opponents and at the same time, we fear nobody and we’re ready to face them.”
Titleholder, TP Mazembe is paired alongside Dynamos of Zimbabwe, Entente Setif of Algeria and Esperance of Tunisia in Group A.
