As the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) enters Week Five, your World of Champions will follow Nigeria’s top-flight to the hinterland of Offa live on SuperSport Nine from 3.55pm on Saturday.
SuperSport continues the live coverage of the NPL with the game between Kwara United and Heartland Football Club at the Offa Township Stadium.
Expect a tight battle between the two sides that have a glut of stars in their own rights with the likes of Blessing Okardi, Kelvin Kpakor, Isiaka Olawale, Jaiyeola Yusuf, Barnabas Imenger, Soga Sambo and Chibuzor Osigwe among others in line for Kwara United.
At the away end, Chinedu Efugh leads the likes of Bello Kofarmata, Osas Okoro, Julius Ubido, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Joshua Obaje and Kingsley Udoh in a bid to claim all points at Offa on SuperSport.
Kadiri Ikhana, coach of Kwara United, told your World of Champions that he is looking forward to the match with the intention of guiding his team to a second win of the season.
The Kwara United gaffer is also happy that the game will be live on your World of Champions.
“It is imperative that we win this game. No doubt we will play against a difficult side but I am confident that we will pick all points in this game. And I know that the players know that they will have to work hard for this.
“I am happy that the match will be on television so that the world will assess not just the performance of the players but also those of the match officials,” he said.
The game between Kwara United and Heartland is listed as the 42nd game of the NPL season.
SuperSport has been the official broadcaster of the Premier League in Nigeria in the past two seasons.
