SuperSport.com can reveal that Enyimba’s influential skipper, Josiah Maduabuchi (pictured), is heading for South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Bloemfontein Celtic.

The Gauteng province based club have since begun their pre-season programme and are ready to add Maduabuchi to their roster ahead of the new season which begins, in August.

Club gaffer, Clinton Larsen, is expecting to see Maduabuchi and others invited to the club.

The Enyimba skipper expressed readiness for the trip to Johannesburg.

“It’s a great opportunity to train with Celtic. I hope to make the best out of this,” Maduabuchi told SuperSport.com.

The trip to Celtic makes Maduabuchi unavailable for Enyimba’s Federation Cup quarter-final clash against lower division side, Prime, on Monday, in Ibadan.

SuperSport.com learnt that Enyimba supremo, Felix Anyansi-Agwu has sanctioned Maduabuchi’s trip to Celtic.

Former Enyimba stars, Prince Olomu and Ezenwa Otorogu have played for Celtic.

Olomu left Celtic for Maritzburg United, while Otorogu has since released after a spending a year with the club last term.
