Enyimba dial up Flying Eagles duo

Two Flying Eagles' players are currently training with two-time Caf Champions League winners, Enyimba, supersport.com has been informed.

The players are defender Ikechukwu Okorie and goalkeeper Samuel Okani, who is also captain of the Nigerian Under20 men's team.

Both players have been in Aba with the People's Elephant and they are reportedly closing in on signing for the six-time Nigeria Premier League (NPL) winners.

"We have a number of players in our camp training with us including the Under20 goalkeeper. Also we have a defender, Okorie, from the Under20 national team training with us.

"Deals for them are close to being finalised as we expect them to be cleared from their previous clubs soon. But they are here and have agreed to join us as we await documentation of the process," said an Enyimba official to supersport.com.

Okani last featured for relegated Jigawa Golden Stars while Okorie was in the books of Kaduna United until last season.
