Kwara United To Unveil Ikhana As New Coach

Former Sharks of Port Harcourt handler, Kadiri Ikhana, has joined Kwara United as the new coach for next season.
Ikhana will replace Justin Tenger who took the team to a fourth place last season.
According to the official website of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) officials of the team concluded negotiations Friday night and Ikhana is expected to be unveiled next week Tuesday.
"Everything is set for the unveiling ceremony to be conducted in Ilorin. Right now I can confirm that coach Justin Tenger has been sacked and Ikhana will meet with the media next week.
"He has been with the team before where he did very well. So he is coming to a familiar terrain and he is going to enjoy a fruitful stay with Kwara United.
"Right now, the management of the team have presented him with a car which he has started using and immediately after the unveiling, he will begin work to prepare the team for the Super Four tournament."
Ikhana created history when he became the first coach to lead Enyimba to win the African Champions League in 2003.
